AASCA CHAMPIONS
The Association of American Schools in Central America (AASCA) is a group of sixteen schools in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama that promote U.S. curriculum.

Congratulations to the CISS Knowledge Bowl team. They are the 1999-2000 Central American Champions after going undefeated in February 2000 at the Maya School in Guatemala. This is the first team composed solely of juniors to ever go undefeated in an international knowledge bowl tournament. |

Congratulation to the CISS boys' varsity soccer team. They are the 1997-1998 small school Central American Champions after going undefeated in Guatemala. Not only that, but Eduardo Velho was named the Best Goalie of the tournament while Morten Linaker and Augusto Sanabria scored the most goals. |
