AASCA CHAMPIONS

The Association of American Schools in Central America (AASCA) is a group of sixteen schools in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama that promote U.S. curriculum.  

	Congratulations to the CISS Varsity Basketball team. They are the 1999-2000 Central American large school basketball champions after going undefeated at the Escuela Americana de El Salvador in April 2000.
	Congratulations to the CISS Knowledge Bowl team.  They are the 1999-2000 Central American Champions after going undefeated in February 2000 at the Maya School in Guatemala.  This is the first team composed solely of juniors to ever go undefeated in an international knowledge bowl tournament.
	Congratulations to CISS boys' varsity volleyball team.  They are the 1998-1999 large school Central American Champions after going undefeated at the Escuela Americana in March 1999.
	Congratulations to the CISS boys' varsity volleyball team. They are the 1997-1998 Central American Champions after a grueling, but exhilarating final game against the American School of El Salvador in San Pedro Sula, Honduras on February 21, 1998.
	Congratulation to the CISS boys' varsity soccer team. They are the 1997-1998 small school Central American Champions after going undefeated in Guatemala. Not only that, but Eduardo Velho was named the Best Goalie of the tournament while Morten Linaker and Augusto Sanabria scored the most goals.
